Built-in navigation for each section of your presentation<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rather than having to present a linear, slide-by-slide presentation,<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/support.office.com\/en-gb\/article\/Add-a-hyperlink-to-a-slide-239c6c94-d52f-480c-99ae-8b0acf7df6d9\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> introduce navigation at the bottom of the slide<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Page-specific navigation\/hotspots<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">One mistake many businesses make is when they try to cram something very complex into one slide (think multiple bullet points in a tiny font size). <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So, what can you do instead? Well, if you have a product, for instance, with multiple features to get across, you should start with a clear, bright image of that product. Then, introduce clickable hotspots so you can drill down into more detailed content.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Each of these hotspots can take you to a specific slide which describes that particular feature. Interactive scenarios (like \u2018a day in the life\u2019 scenario)<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you have a product or service, the chances are it can\u2019t just be described on one slide. Instead, why not demonstrate how it works within the customer&#8217;s environment, show people how something works don\u2019t tell them? We often build a \u2018day in the life\u2019 scenario which walks people through a story of how our customer\u2019s solution fits into their customer\u2019s world. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For example, if you\u2019re a logistics company, show what happens at the depot at the beginning of the day. Then, go on to explain what happens on the road, before demonstrating what happens for the driver, and for the end customer once the parcel is delivered. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Finally, you can follow the driver back to the depot at the end of the day giving your audience a full picture from start to finish and the benefits and opportunities . Audience-specific content <\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A generic presentation is just that; full of generic content that is unspecific to anyone. So, if you have multiple stakeholders in the room, why not have an interactive section in your presentation which allows for tailored messaging?<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For instance, when you talk to the CFO, be able to navigate to finance information. When you talk to the CMO, bring up the marketing information that\u2019s going to be to his benefit. Maybe you have a complex product that you want to introduce.
